Carradine is convincingly obsessive as the self-styled ''hairy-legged traffic cop'' and Williams slyly alluring and manipulative as the woman who (in the words of her husband) ''can`t chew or sit still'' without a man in tow. In its examination of piety and passion, ''Murder Ordained'' is an engrossing piece of television that draws upon crisp direction by Mike Robe, an intelligent script by Robe and James Sadwith and a first-rate cast.
